Professional Photographer John Nunes

John Nunes is an award-winning photographer, who started photographing in 1989 in a small barn on his parents’ property. Over the last 26 years John’s visions and talents have enabled him to expand his business to what it is today. He now has a 3,500 square foot state of the state of the art studio, located in the town of Petaluma, where the beautiful vineyards and blue oceans surround us.

Our goal is to capture moments and memories of a lifetime to create an art piece just for you. With years of teachings and seminars, the ideas are endless through the eyes of this studio. From the creation of the studio session to your ordering appointment, and finally to your finished portrait, our friendly knowledgeable staff will help you every step along the way.

Because unlike many of today’s “photographers” who have just jumped into business (your friends mom, your teacher, some dude your friend knows willing to photograph you for free, you get the idea), John has the experience of 26 years and thousands of seniors he’s photographed under his belt. Alisa Nunes John’s wife, started working with John many years ago assisting him with weddings. Alisa joined him in the studio full time in 2000 and does all of the studio consultations as well as the sales.
